அரச மரத்தினடி

அமர்ந்த அரசனடி

தருவினடி 

தன்தரிசனம் கண்டானடி

தருமம் பகர்ந்தானடி

ஆயிரம் தலைவாங்கிய 

அசோகனும் அடிக்கண்டானடி

அரச மரம் வைத்தலே 

அரசின் கடமை என கொண்டானடி

காயாய் அலைந்தானடி

கனியாய் அமர்ந்தானடி 

பிறவி போதை தெளிய

போதித்தருவினடி 

ஜோதி உள் கண்டானடி

போதித்தவன் புத்தனடி 

ஆலிலை வண்ணனடி 

அவன் நிறம் கொண்டேனடி 

நானும் குமரனடி 

குறிஞ்சி நிலத்தினிலே

குன்றெங்கும் கண்டெனடி

மயிலெங்கும் ஆட 

குயிலெங்கும் பாட 

கடம்ப வனம் கொள்வேனடி

மலையெங்கும் 

மரம் வளர்த்து 

மேகத்தை ஈர்ப்பேனடி

ஆறாய் வந்தேனடி 

ஆரும் காணாத

அருணணின் 

உருவான 

அண்ணன் மலையையும் 

நனைப்பேனடி

அவன் அடி நினைப்பேனடி 

Trees give Birth to Buddhas 

When the King of Nepal was wandering in wilderness in search of the ultimate truth.  He finally sits down under a bodhi tree.  The knowledge , the consciousness,  the truth he could realize when he sat down under the tree.  The trees are the real gurus. Trees are the communication transponders between the earth and the Universe.   All the Universal wisdom is open & available to anyone who seek it.  This is as simple as sitting under the tree.  There are many trees available every where in the earth but how many of us sit under the tree and contemplate our mission on this great planet ?. 

Even the King Ashoka, who was the perpetrator of massive violence and killings during Kalinga war got transformed and became a peace loving person after started planting the trees.

A common man with all his vices can become a lover of Nature and will be loved most & his inner flower blossoms when realizes his guru in a tree.

Where the nature is abundant with trees , there all living things live very happily sharing the eco-space.  There a cuckoo will sing & peacock will be dancing and every bamboo will be playing the Music. The ancient civilizations gave a form to the features of the nature in to different forms of Gods as Muruga, Krishna etc...  It is just an attempt of the realized to convey his realization to the unrealized using a form as a reference point.  It was not considered as a religion by the original practitioners , for them it was & it is a way of life. Sync with nature & human being is also part of that grand nature.

Lord Krishna holding the Govardhana hill to symbolise that we have to worship the hill which is the giver of all rivers by attracting the clouds through the trees grown on the hills.

It is the clarion message to the human kind that we should protect the hills / mountains and not indulge in destroying the hills for our consumeristic needs.  

Till today in 2020, Human race is yet to build one hill with all their machineries which can equal the natural ones. It is very easy to destroy a hill with all the dynamites but it is till now impossible to build one natural hill with all the minerals, herbs combination.

Humans at the their best has been able to make mounds of garbage only. 

So Let us sit down underneath a tree which is grown on the hills to live a prosperous life in tune with Nature.
