By lifting the Govardhana Hill, dark skinned cow herd boy emphasized that the people residing in plains should always worship the hills first than any other form. இன்று பகவான் கிருஷ்ணனின் பிறந்தநாளை உலகமே கொண்டாடும் வேளையில், கிருஷ்ண அவதாரத்தின் மிக முக்கிய செய்தியே மலைகளை வணங்க வேண்டும் என்பதே. அந்த கறுத்த நிற மாடு மேய்க்கும் சிறுவன் கோவர்த்தன் கிரியை தன் சுண்டு விரலின் மூலம் தூக்கியதே தரையில் வாழ்பவர்கள் மலையையே முதலில் வணங்கும் வேண்டும் என்று உணர்த்தவே.   I nitially we planned to dig only the pits on the hills on October 3 rd.  But Nature invited us at the down hill with a pleasant drizzle.  When we were hesitating to climb on the hill when it was wet, sky immediately cleared and weather became bright. The Forest Way , Tiruvannamalai , an organisation into tree planting on Tiruvannamalai hill, helped us with Banyan & Peepul tree saplings. That Organisation's Mr. Kartik & wild life photographer Mr. Kumar helped us in getting us the saplings. . They also shared their experience in preventing the fire from destroying the saplings as they do in the Annamalai hill.   மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் திட்டம் விதை பந்து விதைத்தல் மலைமஞ்சனூர்  10 நவம்பர் 2019 திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் தண்டராம்பட்டு வட்டத்தில் இருக்கும் மலைமஞ்சனூர் கிராமத்தில் உள்ள மலையில் உள்ளூர் கிராம மக்கள் உதவியுடன் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் சார்பில் 3500 விதை பந்துகள் மலை மீது தூவுவதல் மற்றும் மண் கண்டம் வாட்டம் இருக்கும் இடங்களில் நடப்பட்டது. தண்டராம்பட்டு வட்டத்திலேயே மரங்களே இன்றி அதிகம் பாறைகளுடன் வெறும் புற்களாகவே காட்ட்சியளிக்கும் ஒரு மலை. அதுவும் வருடாவருடம் இங்கும் வளரும் மஞ்சம் பில்லை பறிப்பதற்காக இந்த மலையில் தீ மூட்டி மலையில் இயற்கையாகவே வளரக்கூடிய மரங்களை கூட தீயினால் எரிந்து வாடிவிடுகின்றன. இதனாலேயே இந்த மலையை பசுமையாக்குவதே ஒரு சவாலாக ஏற்று பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் களமிறங்கியது.  இதற்காக உள்ளூர் மக்கள் பலரை தொடர்பு கொண்டு மலையின் மீது மரங்கள் வளர்க்க வேண்டிய அவசியத்தை பலருக்கும் எடுத்துரைத்தோம்.  இதில் இளம் விவசாயி திரு. செல்வ குமார் மற்றும் அவரின் நண்பர்கள் அவர்கள் ஊரில் இருக்கும் இயற்கை கொடுத்த வரமான மலையை பயன்படுத...

மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள்  மழை மேகங்கள் குளிர்ந்த மலைகளை நோக்கியே நகர்ந்து அங்குதான் பனித்துளிகளாக இறங்கி ஓடைகளை உற்பத்தி செய்கின்றன. மலைகளை குளிர்விக்க மரங்களாலேயே முடியும்  பல ஓடைகள் ஒன்றாக சேர்ந்து தான் ஆறுகள் பெருகி ஓடுகின்றன. உலகத்தில் உற்பத்தியாகும் ஆறுகளில் அதிகபட்சம் மலைகளிலேயே உற்பத்தியாகின்றன. Rain Clouds always condense on cooler hills. Trees can only cool the hills. Rain clouds condense on hills as dew & flow down as rivulets. many rivulets combine to make a river. Majority of the rivers in the world originate from the hills only.
