இளைஞர்களின் முயற்சி

இயற்கையின் நெகிழ்ச்சி

ஜனவரி மாதத்தில் அடை மழை ஊரெல்லாம் வெள்ளம் ஓடைகளில் ஆற்று நீர் ஒடி ஏரி குளமெல்லாம் நிரம்பின. தமிழ்நாட்டில் பொதுவாக ஜனவரி மாதத்தில் ( மார்கழியில் ) மழை பெய்வதில்லை. ஆனால் இந்த வருடம் 2021 இது வரை இல்லாத சரித்திரமாக தொடர்ந்து மூன்று நாட்கள் நிற்காத மழை. வறன்ட திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டத்தில் திரும்பிய பக்கமெல்லாம் மழை.

In the 1st week of January 2021, Tiruvannamalai witnessed unprecedented rain. Generally in January it does not rain over these places. Every area was filled with water.

மேற்கிலிருந்து பாய்ந்த ஆறு என்ற சொல் மருவி மேல்பாச்சார் என்ற கிராமத்தில் கடந்த ஆறு வருடங்களாக வறட்சியாகவே இருந்த கிராமம் ஜனவரியில் ஊரெங்கும் தண்ணீர் திருவிழா ஆனது.

For the last six years of drought has finally come to an end in the corner most village , Melpachar, the name means the river which flown from the west.

பசுமை பாச்சார் பொறுப்புள்ள இளைஞர்கள் சங்கம் 2ம் தேதி ஜனவரி தொடங்கி பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் சார்பாக " வீட்டிற்கு ஒரு மரம்" என்று இளைஞர்கள் வீடு தோறும் சென்று கிராமத்தில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிற்கும் ஒரு மரக் கன்று கொடுத்தார்கள்.

During the event Youth gave one tree to each one of the house in the Village as a part of RCi's "One tree in each house " programme.

அதுவும் தவிர கிராமத்திலிருக்கும் அனைத்து ஏரிகள், பண்ணை குட்டைகள், கசிவு நீர் குட்டைகள் இவற்றின் கரைகளில் பல் வேறு விதமான மரக் கன்றுகள் நட்டார்கள். விளைவு இயற்கை மிகவும் ஆனந்தப்பட்டு மழையை வாரி வழங்கியது. இளைஞர்களுக்கு இதனை விட பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதம், வாழ்த்தும் வேறென்ன இருக்க முடியும். இதே போல திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டத்தில் பல கிராமங்களில் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் இளைஞர்கள் குழுக்கள் ஆரம்பித்து செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறது.

In addition youth have planted tree saplings in all lake bunds, farm ponds, tanks, inside the forests in the villages in the short span of time. This has made Nature tremendously happy & it blessed the village with abundant water in the most unexpected month clearly showering its blessings for the good deeds and the responsibilities taken by the youth.

Responsible Citizens iYakkam has already started forming many youth forums in different villages in Tiruvannamalai district to create more greenery on the villages and catch the rain in this water starved district in Tamilnadu, India.
