 நரிக் குறவர் காலனியில் சுதந்திர தினக் கொண்டாட்டம்

RCi has already plans to plant trees on this hillock between Melpachar & Mothakkal villages during the coming North East Monsoon season from October 2021.

The Gypsies have been given one portion of the hill for building their houses here. As a part of greening activity, RCi is planning to give at lest 5 fruit bearing trees for each house to ensure more natural fruits are available to the malnourished Children of this community.  Elders are struggling for their living post the pandemic with reduced sales of hand made ornaments.   We are exploring the possibility of developing a plant nursery for this community to expand their livelihood opportunities.

வரப்போகும் பருவ மழை காலங்களில் மேல்பாச்சாருக்கும் மோத்தக்கல் கிராமங்களுக்கும் இடையே உள்ள இந்த மலையில் பொறுப்புள்ள முடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் மரங்கள் நடுவதற்கு திட்டமிட்டு வருகிறது. 

இந்த மலையின் மோத்தக்கல் பகுதியில் நரிக் குறவர்களுக்கு 40 வீடுகள் கட்டி வாழந்து வருகின்றனர். குறவர்களின் ஊசி மணி பாசி மணி ஆகியவற்றை விற்று வந்த வியாபாரம் கரோனா ஊரடங்கிற்கு பிறகு மேலும் குறைந்துள்ளது. குழ்ந்தைகளும் ஊட்டச் சத்து குறைந்து காணப்படுகின்றனர். அதனாலயே இங்கு உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திற்கும் தலா ஐந்து பழ மரங்களையாவது கொடுத்து குழந்தைகளின் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் மேலும் மரம் வளர்ச்சியில் இவர்களின் ஆர்வத்தை வளர்த்து அதன் மூலமாக மரங்களுக்கான நாற்று பண்ணைகளை வளர்ப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளை நமது இயக்கம் ஆராய்ந்து வருகிறது.
