 Village Govt school students make seed balls and eco bricks 

கிராமத்து அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்கள் செய்த விதை பந்துகளும் நெகிழி கற்களும்

இந்தியாவில் எதிர்பார்க்கும் காடுகளின் நிலப்பரப்பின் அளவு  33% . இன்று 15-16% மட்டுமே வனங்கள் இருப்பதாக கூறப்படும் காலக்கட்டத்தில் பெரியவர்கள் அழிப்பதில் அதிக மும்முரம் காட்ட ஆனால் சிறுவர்கள் தங்கள் எதிர்காலம் மிகவும் பசுமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற முயற்சியை சிறுவர்களுக்கே உரித்தான உற்சாகத்துடன்  செய்து நம்பிக்கை அளித்தனர். 

Forest cover in India is expected to be 33% of the land mass to fight climate change. Today when we are facing the grim situation of only 15 to 16% forest cover, elders are bent upon to remove the further cover which the young kids with their jubilant enthusiasm attempting to get the greenery back gives lots of hopes for the future.

உற்சாகத்தின் ஊற்றுக் கண் சிறுவர்கள், அதிலும் கிராமத்து அரசு பள்ளிக் கூடத்தில் மடை திறந்த ஊக்கத்திற்கு நாமும் நமது கிராமத்தை பசுமையாக்க கிடைத்த வாய்ப்பை குழந்தைகளுக்கே உள்ள மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் விதை பந்துகளை 28 /ஜூன்/2023 அன்று திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் மேல்பாச்சார் கிராமத்தில் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த விதை பந்து மற்றும் நெகிழி கற்கள் செய்யும் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கண்ணாற காண முடிந்தது. தலைமை ஆசிரியர் திருமதி புனிதா எலிசபெத் அவர்களும் மற்றும்
விளையாட்டு ஆசிரியர் திருமதி மா. குப்பு அவர்களும் ஊக்கமளித்ததால் மரத்தின் அடியில் விளையாட்டாக ஒரே மணி நேரத்தில் 1500 புளி மற்றும் மணி புங்கன் விதை பந்துகளை செய்து காட்டினர். பொறுப்புள்ள இளைஞர் சங்கத்தினர் அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளையும் செய்திருந்தனர். குழந்தைகளின் எதிர்காலம் நிச்சயம் பசுமையாக இருக்கும் என்பது இந்த குழந்தைகளின் உற்சாகத்தை பார்க்கும் போதே தெரிந்தது. இதனை காணொளியாகவும் எடுத்து எங்களின் யூடியூப் சேனலில் வெளியிட்டு உள்ளோம்.

Tiruvannamalai District on 28th June 2023 with the encouragement given by the HM Ms. Punitha Elizabeth & PT teacher Ms.M.Kuppu in the event organized by Responsible Citizens iYakkam with events coordinated by Youth wing. Future is very safe with this kind of enthusiasm shown by kids in bringing a green future for them as they made 1500 seed balls in one hour.

நம் காடு நம் பொறுப்பு Our Forest Our Responsibility

இந்த விதை பந்துகளை வனத்துறையினருடன் இணைந்து இந்த கிராமத்தின் அருகில் இருக்கும் தென்பெண்ணை ஆற்றை ஒட்டியுள்ள காப்பு வனப்பகுதிகளில் மழைக்கு முன்பாக தூவ உள்ளோம். பெரியவர்கள் இது வரை மரங்களை விறகிற்காக காட்டிலிருந்து வெட்டிக் கொண்டே வர காடுகளின் அடர்த்தி பல வருடங்களில் குறைந்து கொண்டே வந்து இன்றளவில் சூரியனின் வெப்பத்தில்லிருந்து தப்பிக்க போதிய நிழல் இல்லாத நிலையில் உள்ளது. இதனையே மாற்ற ஒவ்வொரு கிராமத்தில் இருக்கும் சிறுவர்களையும் இளைஞர்களையும் பொறுப்பு எடுத்துக் கொள்ளும் பயிற்சியை முயற்சியை பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் எடுத்து வருகிறது.

We are planning to sow these seed balls with the guidance of Forest department in the reserve forests along the banks of Then pennai river. Till this day many elders from the villages bring fire wood from the forests by cutting trees and in many parts of the forests there is much less shade available from sun's shade. To change the situation, now we at Responsible Citizens iYakkam taking every efforts to give training to village children and youth in making seed balls , growing saplings and planting them in the forest.

ப்ளாஸ்டிக் குப்பைகளை குறைக்க முயற்சி - நெகிழி கற்கள் செய்ய பயிற்சி

ஒரு பக்கம் மரம் வளர்த்து பசுமைக்கான முயற்சியுடன் மறுபக்கம் கடல் வாழ் உயிரினங்கள் மற்றும் வன விலங்குகளின் வாழ்க்கையையும் பாதிக்கும் ப்ளாஸ்டிக் (நெகிழி ) குப்பைகளை குறைக்கவும் ஏற்கனவே போடப்பட்டுள்ள நெகிழி குப்பைகளை எரிக்காமல் அவற்றை வீணாக தூக்கி ஏறியப்படும் நெகிழி புட்டிகளிலேயே இந்த ப்ளாஸ்டிக் பூதங்களை அடக்கி அவற்றை கொண்டு உபயோகமான பொருட்களை தயாரிக்கும் முறையே மாணவர்களுக்கு கற்றுக் கொடுத்தோம். சொல்லிக் கொடுத்த 10 நிமிடங்களில் 10 புட்டிகளை கண்டு பிடித்து அவற்றில் ப்ளாஸ்டிக் கவர்களை உள்ளே அடக்கி 10 நெகிழி கற்களாக ( எகோ ப்ரிக்ஸ் ) ஆக செய்து காட்டினர். இதில் போதுமான எண்ணிக்கை செய்து முடித்த பின் இந்த நெகிழி கற்களை மாணவர்களுக்கு பயனளிக்கும் சில பொருட்களை செய்ய திட்டமிட்டுள்ளோம். இந்த ஒரு சிறிய கிராமத்தில் இத்தனை ப்ளாஸ்டிக் குப்பைகள் பரவியிருக்குமானால் நாம் இன்னும் வேகமாக பல கிராமங்களில் இந்த செயல்பாடுகள் செய்ய வேண்டிய அவசியம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

On one hand we are taking the children through greener route and at the same time the demon of plastic waste have reached the sea lives and have affected the wild life in many forests. We sensitized the children about the need to reduce the consumption of plastics in day today life and also to contain the already freely roaming plastics. One solution is to contain the single use plastic covers in to the used plastic bottles and make eco bricks. We taught the children on making eco bricks. Immediately they swung in to action and made 10 eco bricks in 10 minutes. Even in a remote village plastics is strewn every where, so these activities need to be replicated in many villages sooner.
