  மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் திட்டம் விதை பந்து விதைத்தல் மலைமஞ்சனூர்  10 நவம்பர் 2019 திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் தண்டராம்பட்டு வட்டத்தில் இருக்கும் மலைமஞ்சனூர் கிராமத்தில் உள்ள மலையில் உள்ளூர் கிராம மக்கள் உதவியுடன் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் சார்பில் 3500 விதை பந்துகள் மலை மீது தூவுவதல் மற்றும் மண் கண்டம் வாட்டம் இருக்கும் இடங்களில் நடப்பட்டது. தண்டராம்பட்டு வட்டத்திலேயே மரங்களே இன்றி அதிகம் பாறைகளுடன் வெறும் புற்களாகவே காட்ட்சியளிக்கும் ஒரு மலை. அதுவும் வருடாவருடம் இங்கும் வளரும் மஞ்சம் பில்லை பறிப்பதற்காக இந்த மலையில் தீ மூட்டி மலையில் இயற்கையாகவே வளரக்கூடிய மரங்களை கூட தீயினால் எரிந்து வாடிவிடுகின்றன. இதனாலேயே இந்த மலையை பசுமையாக்குவதே ஒரு சவாலாக ஏற்று பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் களமிறங்கியது.  இதற்காக உள்ளூர் மக்கள் பலரை தொடர்பு கொண்டு மலையின் மீது மரங்கள் வளர்க்க வேண்டிய அவசியத்தை பலருக்கும் எடுத்துரைத்தோம்.  இதில் இளம் விவசாயி திரு. செல்வ குமார் மற்றும் அவரின் நண்பர்கள் அவர்கள் ஊரில் இருக்கும் இயற்கை கொடுத்த வரமான மலையை பயன்படுத...

On 10.Nov.2019 Sunday, Responsible Citizens iYakkam with the Local village volunteers organised & sown seed balls containing varieties of trees' seeds on top of the malamanjanur hills. We chose the malamanjanur hill in this region( southern part of Thiruvannamalai district)  ,  though there are no of hills close by,  this is the only hill in the region without much big trees growing & only Lemon grass kind of  grass known in local Tamizh language as "manjam pillu " . This grass smells like lemon when it is squeezed.  The name of the hill itself is derived after this grass. Main challenge is that for cutting these grass for thatched roofing purposes some people in the malamanjanur  village burn the grasses every year.  So most of the trees available atop the hills too get burnt & die in the process resulting in barren hills in summer months.  Only during rains,  some rivulets flow down the hills but no condensation ta...

திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் தண்டராம்பட்டு வட்டம் மலைமஞ்சனூர் கிராமத்தில் இருக்கும் இந்த  மலையில் கிராம மக்களுடன் இணைந்து பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் வரும் 3 நவம்பர் 2019 காலை 8 மணியளவில் மலையில் போத்து மரங்கள் , விதை பந்துகள் , மற்றும் மர கன்றுகள் நட உள்ளோம்.    இயற்கை ஆர்வலர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு மலையை பசுமை போர்வை போர்த்த வாருங்கள் . On 3rd Nov 2019, around 8 am , Responsible Citizens iYakkam with the Villagers of Malamanjanur Village in Thandrampattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District will be planting Pothu trees, seed balls & tree saplings. All the nature enthusiasts are requested to participate in this event to green the hill.

மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள்  மழை மேகங்கள் குளிர்ந்த மலைகளை நோக்கியே நகர்ந்து அங்குதான் பனித்துளிகளாக இறங்கி ஓடைகளை உற்பத்தி செய்கின்றன. மலைகளை குளிர்விக்க மரங்களாலேயே முடியும்  பல ஓடைகள் ஒன்றாக சேர்ந்து தான் ஆறுகள் பெருகி ஓடுகின்றன. உலகத்தில் உற்பத்தியாகும் ஆறுகளில் அதிகபட்சம் மலைகளிலேயே உற்பத்தியாகின்றன. Rain Clouds always condense on cooler hills. Trees can only cool the hills. Rain clouds condense on hills as dew & flow down as rivulets. many rivulets combine to make a river. Majority of the rivers in the world originate from the hills only.

லடாகின் தண்ணீர் மனிதர் பத்ம ஸ்ரீ விருது பெற்ற திரு . செவாங் நார்பெல் . உலகத்தின் மிக  உயரத்தில் இருக்கும்  பாலைவனமான இந்தியாவின் வடக்கு மாநிலமான லடாக்கில் உரை பனி மலைகளிலிருந்து ஜூன் ஜூலை மாதங்களில் வெயிலில் உருகி இந்து நதி  ஒடி வந்தால் தான்  குடிக்க தண்ணீர் என்றளவில்  விவசாயம் என்பதே எட்டாக்கனி . விவசாயம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றால் லடாக்கில் ஏப்ரல் மாதத்திலேயே தண்ணீர் தேவை. இதனை  உணர்ந்த சிவில் பொறியாளரான திரு . செவாங் நார்பெல் நதி பனியில் உறையும் நேரங்களில் நதிகளின் குறுக்கே தடுப்பணைகளை மிக எளிமையாக  கட்டி  உறைந்த தண்ணீரை சேமித்து அந்த உறை பனி மலைகளின்  அடிவாரங்களில் ஏப்ரல் மாதத்திலேயே உருகுவதை பயன்படுத்தி விவசாயிகளின் தண்ணீர் தேவைக்கு  வழி வழிவகுத்துள்ளார். லடாக்கின் தண்ணீர் கஷ்டத்தினை தீர்க்க தீர்க்கதரிசனமாய் கையாண்ட திரு .செவாங் ஒரு பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமகன். அவரின் வழியை நாமும் பின்பற்றுவோம் .

Responsible Citizens iYakkam (RCi)  is very happy to announce that with our continuous efforts we have got the clearance from the Chief Educational Officer (CEO) of Thiruvannamalai District, Mr. Jayakumar, through his letter 8548/அ 5/2018 dt 7.1.2019. We have received the letter in person on 19th March 2019 after getting the clearance from the administrative department.  திருவண்வழியில் மலை மாவட்ட முதன்மை கல்வி அலுவலர் திரு . ஜெயக்குமார் அவர்கள் , பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள்  இயக்கத்தின்  விண்ணப்பத்தை  ஏற்று மாவட்டத்தில் ஆறுகள் ஓடும் ஊர்களில் உள்ள பள்ளிகளில் "மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் " திட்டத்தில் மாணவர்களையும் ஆசிரியர்களையும் ஈடுபடுத்த அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளார்கள் என்பதை மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் தெரிவித்துக்  கொள்கிறோம் .
