 பொறுப்புள்ள ஆறுகள்

ஆறுகளை மீட்டெடுப்பதின் மூலம் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்களை உருவாக்க முடியுமா ???  ஆறுகள் வெறும் தண்ணீரின் ஓட்டம் மட்டும் அல்ல.  அது என்றும் ஒரு நாகரீகத்தின் உயிரோட்டம். உலகத்தின் அனைத்து நாகரீகங்களும் ஒரு நதிக்க்ரையில் தான் ஆரம்பமாகியுள்ளது. சிந்து சமவெளி நாகரீகம், நைல் நதி நாகரீகம், கங்கை, காவிரி, வைகை, தாமிர பரணி என்று அனைத்தும் நாகரீகங்களின் தொட்டில்களாக இருந்து வருகின்றன.  ஒடும் ஆறுகள் இயற்கையின் வளத்தின் அடையாளங்கள். அவை நிலத்திற்கு வளங்களை கொடுத்து வாழும் அனைத்து உயிரினங்களுக்கும் உணவின் ஆதாரமாக விளங்குகிறது. இயற்கையின் வளங்கள் கூடக் கூட மனிதர்களின் மற்றும் அனைத்து உயிரினங்களின் பரிமான வளர்ச்சியும் கூடி அனைத்து இயற்கையுடன் ஒன்றிணைந்து வாழுவதற்கு வழிச் செய்கிறது.

ஆனால் இயற்கையின் வளங்களை மனிதர்களால் சுரண்டப்படப்பட உலகில் பல்வேறு விதமான மோதல்களும் அதனால் அமைதியின்மையும் போர் போன்ற கிளர்ச்சிகளும் நடந்த வண்ணம் இருக்கின்றன. குடிக்கக் கூட தண்ணீர் இல்லாமல் பல நாடுகளில் மனிதர்களும் விலங்குகளும் அல்லலுற்று பசி, பஞ்சம், பட்டினி, பிணி என்று பல்வேறு துன்பங்களுக்கு ஆளாகி வருகின்றனர். கிராமங்களிலிருந்து நகரங்களை நோக்கிய நகர்வுகளால் இட நெருக்கடி அதனால் மன உளைச்சல், போட்டி , பொறாமை போர் வரை கூட சென்றுவிடுகிறது.

நீராதாரம் குறைவதே சமுதாயத்தில் பல சிக்கல்களின் அடிப்படை காரணியாகிறது.  கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக பருவ மழைகள் பொய்து போய் இன்றைய காலக்கட்டத்தில் புயலால் மட்டுமே மழை பெய்யும் என்ற நிலைக்கு மனித பேராசை கொண்டு சேர்த்துவிட்டது. முன்னாட்களில் ஆறு மாதங்களாக மாதந்தோறும் பெய்த மழை இப்பொது ஒரேடியாக ஆறு நாட்களில் கொட்டி தீர்த்து நீரை சேமிக்க முடியாமல் போய் விடுகிறது. இதனால் வெள்ளம் வந்த அடுத்த வருடங்களிலேயே தண்ணீர் பஞ்சமும் ஏற்படுகிறது. மனித இனத்தின் பேராசையால் என்றுமே தனது வளங்களில் சரியாக செயல்பட்ட இயற்கையும் இப்பொழுது பரவலாக மனிதனுக்கும் இயற்கைக்குமான போராட்டமாக போய்விட்டது.

இயற்கையுடன் ஒன்றிணைந்து வாழும் பொறுப்புள்ள மனிதர்களால் தான் பொறுப்புள்ள சமுதாயம் அமையும்.

இதனால் ஆறுகள் மீட்டெடுப்பு என்பதை மிக அவசியமான நடவடிக்கையாக கருதி மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் என்ற திட்டத்தினை பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம் செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறது. இது ஆறுகள் மீட்டெடுப்போடு பொறுப்புணர்ச்சி மீட்டெடுப்பு, நாகரீகம், கலை மற்றும் அமைதி மீட்டெடுப்புக்கான முயற்சிகளும் ஓடும் ஆறுகளினால் மீண்டும் நடக்கும்.  ஆறுகள் பெரும்பாலும் மலைகளில் தான் உருவாகின்றன. மலைகளில் ஆறுகள் உருவாக அடர்த்தியான காடுகள் அவசியம். மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் திட்டம் மூலமாகவே மறைந்த பல ஓடைகளையும் ஆறுகளையும் மீட்டெடுப்போம்.

மரங்கள் மேகங்களை உருவாக்குவதிலும் அதனை மலைகளில் இறக்குவதிலும் பெரும் பங்காற்றுகின்றன. அதுவும் தவிர ஒவ்வொரு மரமும் தான் மட்டும் வாழாமல் பல உயிர்களுக்கும் வாழவளிக்கும் ஒரு உன்னத பொறுப்புள்ள உயிரினமாகும். இதற்கு மேலும் ஒவ்வொரு மரமும் ஒரு தவ நிலையில் இருப்பதால் அதனடியில் அமர்பவர்களுக்கு நிழல் மட்டும் மல்லாது நல்ல ஞானமும் வழங்குகிறது.  தருக்கள் ஓங்க ஓங்க தருமம் ஓங்கும் அதனால் அமைதி மேலோங்கும். அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும அன்போடு இசைந்து வாழ வழி செய்யும்.

பொறுப்பான ஆறுகளினால் பொறுப்பான பல காடுகள் உருவாகின்றன அதனால் பல பொறுப்புள்ள உயிரினங்கள் வாழ்கின்றன. இந்த வட்டத்தினை வெட்டாது ஒட்டி வாழ்வோம்.

What is the relation between River Rejuvenation & Responsible Citizens ?

A river is like the blood flowing through the veins. A flowing river radiates more positive energy & gives more confidence to live for every living being. Every civilization had grown only along the course of a river, like Indus river, nile river, ganga, kaveri , vaigai, Thamira Bharani etc… Flowing river is a symbol of natural abundance & it enriches the lands & gives more food for every living being dependent on it. Further due to increase in resources, art forms develop to move the evolution of beings & society. Only when art forms are able to flourish, human beings were able to live in peace with surroundings & the Nature at large.

Diminishing water resources in Earth are leading to unrest in many places across the world. Lack of potable water in many parts of the world is leading to poverty & diseases growing in many parts of the world. Cities are getting cramped & unliveable for the larger population & psychologically human race are getting agitated & are always are in war mode in one mode or other.

So the Root causes for every ailment haunting the beings in the world are due to reduction in water resources. Monsoon rains are slowly fading away & many parts are getting water only due to hurricanes & floods once in few years.  The water which was pouring in a period of over 6 months are now pouring in 6 days, which is leading to flooding followed by droughts in very next year.  Nature which is always in equilibrium in managing all its resources is getting disturbed due to greediness of human beings resulting in Man- Nature conflicts.  A society can be a responsible society only when its citizens are responsible & are committed to live in sync with nature.

Hence Responsible Citizens iyakkam’s primary focus is on River rejuvenation. It is not just River Rejuvenation, it is rejuvenation of responsibility, culture, art & Peace which happens through a flowing river.  Most of the rivers originate from hills which have dense forest cover on it to attract the clouds to condense on it. To achieve this we need to plant Trees on Every Hill.

Trees play a major role in cloud generation & condensation of rains on hills. Not only that, every tree lives for many other beings dependent on it for food & housing. Trees are the Most Responsible Being. Every tree lives in a meditative state, more than shade it gives ultimate wisdom to anyone mediating underneath it. Increase in trees increases righteousness in the society. Trees facilitate synchronous living with nature.

A responsible river generates responsible forests which ensures responsible living among all living beings. Let us live responsibly within this Responsible natural cycle.
