 Tribals need to be at the Top of the Hills

Today 25th July 2022 is a Historical Day in the Indian History especially for the Tribals as the 1st Ever Tribal and that too a woman has been crowned as the Chief of the Mother India.

Responsible Citizens iYakkam heartily congratulates the Madam President and all the Parliamentarians and Legislators in choosing a person with a great Calibre to Occupy the highest position available at Raisina Hills in New Delhi.

On this historic day on the occasion of 75th year of Independence, Republic of India registers a important milestone.

But this must also be occasion, we Indians, need a change in attitude towards the lifestyle of Real Tribals.  Major attributes in this era of Climate Change, India, must appreciate the minimalist consuming behavior of Tribals' lifestyle. Tribals least exploit the natural resources. They make houses out of the naturally available materials in the forest and they make their clothing available in their wild life habitats and most of them can be naturally decomposed. Their carbon foot print is quite low.

Now globally and also in India, we consider Tribals lifestyle as backward and modern day class room educated urbanites lifestyle as superior. The city bred, are most exploiting and high consumers of natural resources and are the root cause for the irresponsible climate change. Livelihoods at the cities and the suburban areas are quite expensive and most resource consuming and also waste generating.

Tribal way of living is the most responsible way of living and in fact Government of India should encourage, if any of the city folks wants to lead a tribal way of life.  All the tribals have to be encouraged and be made part of reforestation on all the hills of India.

Increase in forest density, rejuvenating rivers and improving bio diversity should be the top most priority at these challenging times on Earth. 

The present day cities are most unhygienic, unhealthy and anti nature. Those who can afford are escaping the unhealthy life style by planning holidays to hill stations. That too hill stations like Ooty, Kodikanal, Simla,Darjeeling and even Leh have become highly polluted and populated with concrete buildings and other resource consuming paraphernalia.

Here we have to learn from Tribals, the simple way of living and peaceful co-existence with Nature.

India, the Bharath, is already blessed with abundance of Natural resources but it is getting destroyed by over exploiting consumerist behavior. Children, naturally born in a Tribal family and naturally fed with the fruits, leaves and nuts available in the forest and drinking natural fresh water are more wealthy and healthy. Till today no human being is able to construct one single hill in any part of the globe other than Garbage hills of cities. Hence, we need RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, the TRIBALS and their tribes to grow and worship thy nature, which is the natural instinctive quality of an Indian. ( The word "Indian" used in any part of the world is referring the Native -ethnic race of any country ).

All our civilisations registered till today in the human history are grown only in the River basins. Every art form thrives when the rivers flow in abundance and most of the rivers originate in Hills and the pristine hills can remain so, only if the lifestyle followed on top of the hills is nature friendly and tribals have mastered the art. It is time to look up to the Tribals and not looked down as illiterates.

A tribal president is not mere symbolism, it is nature's wish, that a dark skinned Bhrama Kumari be at the top of the country, which is aspiring to be a Vishwa guru, a world leader in Natural way of living and giving. That will be the true independence. It was also the wish of that dark skinned cow herd boy, who insisted on worshiping the Nature by raising the Govardana Hill in his little finger. All other unnatural constructions finally only would go under the sea, as he established in his city of dwarka.

Tribals does not need ration rice or wheat or tea or coffee or reservation in city life. Tribals need non intereference in their way of living in sync with nature. Increase the taxes for city way of life and give it for growing more thicker forests across the hills from Tiruvannamalai (Lord Aruncahala ) to Arunachal Pradesh.

Every citizen needs peaceful existence at any point of earth and for that the nature needs to be preserved and conserved by the experienced custodians. Real education naturally springs up by observing the nature in close proximity and not by looking at the black board or in the digital slates.

On this 75th Year of Independence, it is high time to salute the Tribal at the top of the Hills. Her excellency, Madam President , you have shown the way to Reach Raisina Hill is Possible with a reality rising a Hill is impossible from scratch. We as, Responsible Citizens . of this great country, expect you to stamp your authority, Naturally.
