விலங்குகளுக்கு

விடுதலை

"இனி ஒரு விதி செய்வோம்" என்று மகாகவி சுப்ரமணிய பாரதியார்  அவர் மொழியிலேயே அவரின் ஆன்மா உடல் என்னும் தளையிலிருந்து விடுதலை அடைந்த இந்த நன்னாளில் ( 11-செப்டம்பர்-2022 ) இந்த பூமியின் பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்களாய் ஒரு உறுதி மொழி ஏற்போம்.

As Our Mahakavi Subramniya Bharathiar roared " Let us take a Pledge " on this day, September 11th, when his soul left the body, as a Responsible Citzen of this Earth.

"இந்த பூமியில் அனைத்து இடங்களிலும் விலங்குகள் (மிருகங்கள் ) அனைத்தும் அவரவர் விருப்பப்படி சுதந்திரமாக நடமாட உகந்த சூழ்நிலையை உருவாக்குவோம் "

" We shall enable every animal to roam freely in every part of the earth "

மகாகவியின் "விடுதலை விடுதலை" கவிதை மிகப் பிரபலமானது. 1920 களில் இந்தியர்களுக்கு விடுதலை தீயை மூட்ட பாரதீ எழுதிய வீர வரிகள். ஆனால் அதுவும் வெறும் மனிதர்களுக்கு மனிதர்களிடம் இருந்து விடுதலைக்காக மட்டுமல்ல மனிதர்களிடம் இருந்து விலங்குகளுக்குமான கூக்குரல் தான். பாரதி உடல் இறந்தே 101 ஆண்டுகள் ஆன போதிலும் மனிதனிடம் அகப்பட்டுக் கொண்ட மிருகங்களின் மரண ஓலம் இன்னம் பலமாக ஓலிக்கிறது. 

Mahakavi's famous poem " Vituthalai Vituthalai !!! " ( "Freedom Freedom !!! " ) was very famous. In 1920s, he ignited the spark of freedom in every minds with his patriotic songs. But those songs are not just for Human Beings, but it is also a loud outcry of animals. Even after 101 years after physical disappearance of Bharathi, animals are yet to see the freedom. 

பாரதியார் இந்த விடுதலை பாடலை அந்த திருவல்லிக்கேணி பார்த்தசாரதி கோவில் யானையின் காதிலும் பாடியிருப்பார் போலும்.

Probably Bharathi had sung this song in the ears of that elephant of the famous Tiruvallikeni Partha Sarathi Temple too.

அந்த யானை மிகுந்த மதத்தினாலோ ( "மஸ்த்" னாலோ) தன் இணை தேடி விடுதலை வேண்டி இருக்கும். இந்த மனிதரால் தான் தனக்கு விடுதலை கிடைக்கும் என்ற அந்த மிருகமும் மிகும் வேதனையிலும் பாரதியை கால்களுக்கிடையில் போட்டாலும் மிதிக்கவில்லை. இன்னமும் சிலர் பாரதியார் யானைக் காலில் மிதிப்பட்டு இறந்ததாக தவறாக எழுதுகின்றனர். ஆனால் அவர் யானை காலில் சக மனிதர்களுக்காக மன்னிப்பு கேட்ட பின்பு ஒரு வருடம் வாழ்ந்துள்ளார். அந்த யானையை பற்றி "கோவில் யானை" என்ற கதையையும் எழுதியுள்ளார். 

Probably that time the elephant was on its heat period and wanting freedom to mate. That jumbo believed that this poet alone can get freedom from this human bondage. Though it did lift Bharathi and put him between its legs but it never stamped him. Even now some people wrongly portray that bharathi died because of that Temple elephant hit, but actually the Greatest Poet lived and also wrote a short story about this elephant and lived a year after the incident.

இன்று பாரதி இருந்திருந்தால் மனிதர்களால் பெரும் வேதனைக்குள்ளாகும் "ப்ராய்லர் கோழிகள், ஆடுகள், மாடுகள், பன்றிகள், ஒட்டகங்கள், யானைகள், புலிகள், பாம்புகள் போன்ற பலவும்  விடுதலைக்காக பாடி மனிதர்களை கண்டிதிருப்பார்.

Had he been alive , Poet Subramanian Bharathiar would have condemened the ill treatment meted out to " Broiler chickens, Goats, Cows, Oxen, Buffaloes, Pigs, Camels, Elephants, Tigers etc...

பாரதி என்ற மகாகவி இந்திய விடுதலைக்காக மட்டும் பாடவில்லை அவர் இந்த உடலில் அடைப்பட்டு கிடக்கும் ஆன்மாவின் விடுதலைக்காகவும் பாடினார். "காக்கை குருவி எங்கள் ஜாதி" என்ற அந்த உன்னத ஆன்மாவின் இந்த 11செப்டம்பர் ஐ "விலங்கிலிருந்து விலங்குகளுக்கு விடுதலை" நாளாக போற்றி நாம் ஒவ்வொருவர் வீட்டிலும் கூண்டுகளில் அடைபட்டு கிடக்கும் பறவைகளுக்கும், சங்கிலியில் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ள நாய்களுக்கும், ஆடுகளுக்கும், மாடுகளுக்கும், ஓட்டகங்களுக்கும் அடிமைத்தனத்தில் இருந்து விடுதலை அளிப்போம்.  மிருக காட்சி சாலை என்று மிருகங்களை கூண்டில் அடைத்து வேடிக்கை பார்ப்பதை நிறுத்துவோம். மனிதர்களுக்காகத்தான் மிருகங்கள் படைக்கபட்டதாய் நினைக்கும் குறுகிய மனப்பான்மையிலிருந்து வெளியே வந்து இந்த பூமி அனைவருக்குமானது அந்த பார் கவியின் கனவினை மெய்பிப்போம்.

Bharathi just didnt sing alone for India's freedom but even sang for the freedom of the soul from the body. He wrote " Crows and sparrows are our siblings " so we must celebrate, Sep 11, as a day to "Liberate Animals from Chains ". Let us free the birds from cages, dogs , goats, cows, camels from the inhuman bondages.

Zoos are symbols of human atrocities on Nature. Let us free our thought that the world is made only for human beings. Let us end this narrow mindedness and widen our horizon to expand ourselves to include and animals and Trees kingdom.

நமது "பொறுப்புள்ள குடிமக்கள் இயக்கம்" "மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள்" என்ற செயல் திட்டத்தினை ஒவ்வொரு மலை அடிவார கிராமங்களிலும் செயல்படுத்த முனைந்து வருகிறது.

அதற்கு இயற்கையாகவே காடுகளை தினம் தோறும் தனது சாணத்தினாலே வளர்க்கும் யானைகள் காடுகளில் இருப்பது மிக அவசியம். தாவர உண்ணிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை கட்டுக்குள் வைத்து அடரந்த காடுகளை வளர்க்கும் புலிகள் மிக அவசியம்.  இன்னமும் பல்லாயிர கிலோ மீட்டர்கள் காடுகளோடு வாழும் ஆப்பிரிக்க காட்டு வாழ் மலை வாழ் மக்களை போல் இயற்கையை போற்றி பாதுகாத்து  நாகரீகமானவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். மலைகள் தோறும் மரங்கள் வளர்ந்தால் தான் வான் மேகங்கள் தரை இறங்கி ஆறாகி நாமும் நமது எதிர்கால சந்ததியினரும் வளமோடு வாழலாம்.

It is easier for human to develop dense forests, if we enable the elephants to freely roam in the forests, as they are quickest planters of million trees in every forest with their dungs. Tigers are very important for the dense forest to thrive as they keep a check on herbivores animals which thrive on greenery.

We need to be civilized like the Tribals of African forest, who have allowed till date several forests to thrive and protected the environment. Only if there are huge trees and dense forests exist on the hills, rain clouds shall condense and make rivers across the land and make it fertile to enable our generations to thrive on this planet.

நகரங்களை உருவாக்க காடுகளை அழிப்பவர்களே நாகரீகமற்றவர்கள் என்பதனை உணர்வோம். 

Those who attempt to make big cities out of forests are the most uncivilized and unevolved beings on Earth.
